Fresh out of the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ house, AZ Martinez is officially back on track with her musical aspirations.
On July 19, 2025, the Academy of Rock Philippines warmly welcomed the Sparkle actress back to class, marking one of her first public appearances since her PBB stint. “Guess who’s back at Academy of Rock?” the school wrote on Instagram. “It’s none other than Ms. @_azmartinez, fresh from PBB Collab Edition! We’re incredibly proud of you and honored that you continue to trust us in your music journey. Welcome back, Az!”
AZ responded to the post with gratitude and excitement: “So happy to be back! Thank you @aorphilippines @cathvelasc0.”
The 22-year-old actress and singer was part of the fan-favorite duo AzVer alongside River Joseph, and the two were hailed as Fourth Big Winners of the recently concluded ‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’. Inside the house, they led a moving fundraising initiative for the Cancer Treatment and Support Foundation in memory of their late fathers, raising over PHP100,000.
Since stepping out of Kuya’s house, AZ has been quickly diving back into her career. She recently made her It’s Showtime debut and continues to charm viewers as part of the fantasy primetime series ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’, airing weeknights at 8:00 p.m. on GMA Prime.
