Fresh out of the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ house, Dustin Yu is back in the real world—and his best friend, David Licauco, has a few wise words for him.
During his official launch as the first-ever ambassador of Taho Story on July 8, David shared his thoughts on how Dustin can handle online criticism and negative attention following his PBB stint.
“Huwag mo nang isipin ang mga haters. Andiyan na ‘yan. Control what you can control,” David advised.
“Kailangan niyang gawin ‘yung mga ginagawa niya dati. Kung sino siya.”
David, who briefly entered the PBB house as a guest last May, previously offered Dustin some light-hearted pranks and relationship tips during his visit. Now that Dustin is back in the public eye after his ‘PBB’ exit alongside Bianca de Vera, the two recently reunited over a meal, reconnecting outside the spotlight.

While David was busy sharing insights with the press, the event also marked a milestone for his career as he officially joined the Taho Story family. Known as the ‘Pambansang Ginoo,’ David’s charm and authenticity made him a natural fit for the proudly Pinoy brand, which has gained a cult following for its unique twist on taho—infused with ice cream.
“The first thing I did was check their Instagram. And then pangalawa, nag-order ako sa Grab. I ordered almost all the flavors… and when I tried it, I was shocked — ang sarap! Gulat-sarap kasi imagine mo, taho na may ice cream? It’s not the usual — it’s unique,” David shared with a smile.
