Karylle had netizens laughing during a recent episode of ‘Showtime Online U’ as she and her husband, Spongecola frontman Yael Yuzon, joined the show and talked about the sudden resurgence of their hit song ‘Kay Tagal Kitang Hinihintay’ on TikTok.
“Natuwa kami na do’n sa TikTok, ang daming gumagamit ng line na ‘nagkita rin ang ating landas,’” Karylle said. “Pero ’pag nakita na naman nila ang ex, ba’t ba ang hilig n’yo sa mga ex-ex na ’yan?”
The ‘It’s Showtime’ host didn’t stop there. She added with a laugh, “Kasi minsan—hindi ko alam kung joke-joke—‘yong pari nakita mo ’yong ex mo pero ikaw [magkakasal] sa kanila. […] Mga gano’n ’yong mga atake nila.”
