Not even stormy weather could stop the entertainment media and celebrity guests from flocking to Pampanga to witness the grand induction of Beautéderm CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan as the new President of the Rotary Club of Balibago.
Held on July 18, 2025, at the Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, the celebration marked a new milestone for the entrepreneur-philanthropist as she formally took on the mantle of leadership as the club’s 16th president.
The event turned into a glitzy affair, with overwhelming support from her Beautéderm family and a dazzling lineup of celebrity endorsers, including Alma Concepcion, Kakai Bautista, Kitkat Favia, Josh Ford, Kimson Tan, Jhai Ho, Ervic Vijandre, Anne Feo, Thia Thomalla, Jojo Abellana, Pepita Curtis, Ejay Falcon, and none other than Piolo Pascual.
Aninoche-Tan’s family is also present, mother Pacita Ramos Anicoche and son Adam Kenneth Tan, and daughter Audrey Kirsten Tan.
In her heartfelt speech, Ms. Rei—known for her visionary leadership—offered a powerful reminder of inclusive leadership and community service: “When we’re granted a seat at the table, let others seat beside you. Don’t leave anyone out. Everyone belongs to everyone. In our quest to be the best organization, we must never lose sight of what truly matters—uplifting others, seeing them for who they are, connecting with them, giving them a voice, and motivating the next generation of advocates to unite for good.”
Beyond the fanfare, her induction event was also a tribute to the power of purpose. Just recently, Anicoche-Tan and her team extended kindness to young students at Sto. Domingo Integrated School through ‘Handog ng D3790 sa Kabataan,’ a district-wide Rotary outreach. With Grade 3 students as the special beneficiaries, the event reinforced her deep commitment to youth empowerment through education and mental health awareness.
Rhea’s journey from radio DJ to beauty mogul is a compelling story of grit and heart. A Mass Communication graduate from St. Louis University in Baguio, she started selling beauty products in the early days of Friendster and Multiply, juggling multiple jobs while building her dream. With only ₱3,500 as capital, she launched Beautéderm in 2009 and turned it into a powerhouse with over 100 stores nationwide and abroad.
From Sylvia Sanchez—her first celebrity endorser and now longtime friend—to today’s top-tier ambassadors like Marian Rivera, Piolo Pascual, Bea Alonzo, and Andrea Brillantes, Rhea’s empire has grown with authenticity at its core. Her unwavering rule in choosing endorsers? “Kailangan idol ko sila or magaan ang pakiramdam ko.”
In January 2023, she unveiled the Beautéderm headquarters in Angeles City, home to her other ventures including Beautéhaus, AK Studios, A-List Avenue, and Beauté Beanery.
With her newest title as Rotary President, Rhea Anicoche-Tan is set to bring that same heart-led energy to civic service. And as her supporters cheered and her fellow Rotarians celebrated, one thing was clear: under her leadership, the Rotary Club of Balibago is in compassionate, capable hands.
