Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 and its more affordable counterpart, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, during its global event in New York, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7.
The latest flip phones offer upgraded AI features, improved durability, and sleeker designs. Both models are now available for pre-order in the Philippines starting July 9, with nationwide availability beginning August 1.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 introduces a refined clamshell design, weighing just 188 grams and measuring 13.7mm when folded. It boasts the largest outer screen ever on a Flip device—a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of brightness. This allows users to reply to messages, check schedules, and take selfies even without unfolding the device.
Inside, it features a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, also with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Powering the phone is the new 3nm Exynos 2500 processor, which enhances performance and powers new Galaxy AI tools like Gemini Live voice search, Now Bar for multitasking, and Now Brief for daily insights.
Other highlights include Samsung DeX support, a 4,300mAh battery (the largest in Flip history), and enhanced durability with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a redesigned Armor FlexHinge. The Flip7 also carries a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter for versatile photography, along with a 10MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE retains the iconic flip design but aims to make foldable smartphones more accessible. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen with “Now Brief” notifications for weather, schedules, and commute updates.
Powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, the Flip7 FE offers reliable performance for everyday tasks. It also includes Samsung’s Knox Vault security system and supports 5G, LTE, and Wi-Fi 6E.
The device sports a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP selfie camera. Battery capacity is rated at 4,000mAh, with support for 25W wired fast charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare.

Both models run One UI 8 based on Android 16 and promise up to seven years of software updates, signaling Samsung’s commitment to long-term device support.
