A new P-Pop girl group is officially making waves. VVINK, the five-member ensemble under FlipMusic Productions, launched their much-anticipated debut single ‘Tulala’ during their Debut Showcase and Media Launch held last July 10 at Club Hype in Quezon City.

The event marked a major milestone for the group, signaling the start of what fans hope will be a long and successful music career.
Composed of Angelika (leader), Jean (main vocalist), Ayaka (main rapper), Odri (main dancer), and Mariel (all-rounder), VVINK drew a full house of supporters, industry partners, and fellow artists who gathered to witness their first official performance as a group. Their debut single ‘Tulala’ features a dreamy, upbeat sound that captures the thrill and confusion of first love—setting the tone for the group’s youthful yet emotionally expressive musical identity.
In a heartfelt moment, the girls expressed deep gratitude to FlipMusic CEO Jeli Mateo and Head Producer Jumbo “Bojam” de Belen, who handpicked the members and gave them what they described as a “second chance” at a music career. Each member had previously joined various talent contests or performed in other groups but had yet to find lasting success—until now.
“We’re thankful to God for the talents He gave us, to our families who continue to support us, and to everyone who believes in our dream,” said the girls collectively. They also shared a touching shoutout to their fast-growing fanbase, affectionately called VVINKies, who showed up in full force during the launch.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, fellow P-Pop groups like Calista and 1621BC came to support, highlighting the sense of community among rising artists in the genre.
Beyond the group’s polished debut performance of ‘Tulala,’ each member showcased their individual strengths through solo song samples—proving that VVINK is more than just a pretty package. They also teased their upcoming track ‘Tatlong Hiling,’ giving fans a taste of what’s to come in their future releases.
VVINK’s discography is already in motion, with additional tracks such as ‘Baduy,’ ‘Kailan Aamin,’ ‘Ikaw Lang Ang Kulang,’ and ‘Tulog Pa Si Ganda’ reportedly lined up for release. Some members have also contributed to the creative process, with Angelika credited for writing BINI’s viral hit ‘Pantropiko.’
As they rise in the P-Pop scene, the group also took the time to thank the brands and sponsors who made their debut event possible, including Dermclinic, Health Fusion, Jesi Mendez Salon, Novodental, Centro Holistico, Uncle Moe’s, World Balance, Greenwich, HIM Studio, Imagemax, Nitro 7, Vamos, Trining’s Kitchen Stories, Lovelife Manila, and Ticket2Me.
