Talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz poked fun at the recent dip in Vice Ganda’s Facebook followers after the comedian’s controversial “jet ski holiday” joke sparked backlash from supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

In a Facebook post, Diaz noted that Vice’s follower count had gone down from 20 million to around 19.8 million, attributing the decline to Duterte supporters who unfollowed the Unkabogable Star in protest.
The comedian-host’s former manager then teased, “Anyway, sana, kuning endorser si Vice ng DepEd, ‘no? O kahit yung TUPAD,” drawing laughter from netizens.
Many social media users downplayed the significance of the drop, pointing out that the decrease was only a fraction of Vice’s total followers.
Vice has yet to comment on the issue, which stemmed from remarks he made during the ‘Super Divas’ concert at the Araneta Coliseum on August 9.
