‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ 4th Big Placer River Joseph admitted he was stunned to learn that a compilation video of his “lapel” showing through his gray pants had gone viral while he was still inside Kuya’s house.
In the latest episode of Ogie Diaz’s vlog on Saturday, August 9, River recalled how he found out about the trending clips after leaving the PBB house.
“Actually, ‘di ako masyadong nag-scroll noong lumabas ako,” River said. “Sabi ng pamilya ko, ‘Wag munang mag-Twitter [at] mag-social media masyado.’ Pero siguro nagulat ako sa gray pants. Kasi ‘yong mga housemate naman, ‘di naman nila ako sinabihan na [bumabakat na pala]. May compilation na ng gray pants. Kitang-kita talaga ‘yong ano.”
This revelation comes after fellow housemate Klarisse De Guzman previously teased River about it during her guest appearance on Vice Ganda’s vlog last July, which trended on YouTube.
When Vice asked her who among the male housemates seemed the most “gifted,” Klarisse replied without hesitation: “Totoo ba Meme? Sa nakikita ko, si River.”
She added that inside the house, they often teased him about it, saying, “‘Oh ‘yong lapel mo!’ Ganu’n! Tapos tatawa siya, tatakpan niya.”
Vice then quipped, “Alam mo nang lumuluwa ang mga mata ni Esnyr sa mga pagkakataong ‘yun,” prompting Klarisse to laugh and respond, “Yes! Kunwari pa siya eh.”
River’s “gray pants moments” became one of the most talked-about visuals from the season, with clips frequently circulating on social media. Fans also noted his resemblance to Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman, adding to his growing recognition.
