After 12 years of a strong and steady relationship, Kapuso celebrity couple Shaira Diaz and Edgar Allan “EA” Guzman are officially married.
The couple exchanged vows in a church wedding on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at St. Benedict Parish, Westgrove Heights in Silang, Cavite. The ceremony was attended by their families and closest friends.
Shaira looked radiant in her white wedding gown, which she had custom-made in South Korea, while EA exuded charm in his elegant suit.
The newlyweds first got engaged in 2021 but only made the announcement public in 2024. Over the years, they have earned admiration not only for the longevity of their relationship but also for their commitment to remain celibate until marriage.
EA previously admitted that it was not easy at first, but their mutual respect and shared values helped them uphold this decision until their wedding day.
Among their principal sponsors were Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Boy Abunda, Jean Garcia, Arnold Clavio, Susan Enriquez, Arnold Vegafria, Ben Chan, and GMA Network executive Annette Gozon-Valdes.
Coco Martin, Gerald Anderson, Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Joross Gamboa, and Jose Sarasola stood as groomsmen, while Jennylyn Mercado was one of the secondary sponsors. Bridesmaids included Julia Montes, Jasmine Curtis, and Arra San Agustin, with “Unang Hirit” colleagues Carlo Tingcungco and Anjo Pertierra serving as bridesmen.
Several guests shared snapshots of the celebration on social media, offering fans a glimpse of the joyous occasion.
Just hours before the ceremony, Shaira appeared on ‘Unang Hirit’ to share a peek at their wedding preparations. She also delivered a heartfelt message for EA: “Mahal na mahal kita, alam mo ‘yan, and I’m so excited na makita ka mamaya sa aisle siyempre. I can’t wait to marry you. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Guzman. Sa ‘yo lang ako forever, mahal na mahal kita.”
The couple now begins their married life, saying that all the sacrifices, patience, and steadfastness over the years have truly led to their “sweet forever.”
