The queens turned up the heat in the second episode of ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ with a high-energy girl group challenge that tested vocals, choreography, and teamwork — and by the end of it, another queen had to sashay away.

After surviving last week’s elimination, Sum Ting Wong found herself back in the spotlight — but not for long. Following a series of creative clashes and heated exchanges with fellow international queens, the British-Filipino performer became the second queen to be eliminated from the competition.
The episode opened with the queens returning to the Werk Room, still reeling from Madame Yoko’s departure. Khianna, who won the first episode, explained that she saved Sum Ting Wong because she “saw herself” in her. Meanwhile, Siam Phussi revealed she had originally chosen Sum Ting’s lipstick out of loyalty to Madame Yoko.
The mini challenge — a chaotic and hilarious kadang-kadang race done in 15-minute drag — saw Khianna bag another win and ₱20,000 in cash. She then earned the right to form her own team for the week’s Maxi Challenge: the girl group performance “Asian Eyyy!”
Khianna strategically picked all the Filipino queens — Arizona Brandy, Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, and Bernie — leaving the international queens to form the rival group.
While Team Philippines breezed through rehearsals, the international queens struggled with leadership and choreography, leading to visible tension between Sum Ting Wong and Yuhua, who accused each other of being the team’s weakest link.
On the main stage, Team Philippines delivered a polished, humor-filled number that had the judges cheering, while the international group earned praise for effort but criticism for lack of energy. The queens then stunned in Tech Couture runway looks, with standouts including Suki Doll, Siam Phussi, Ivory Glaze, and Brigiding.
Ultimately, Viñas Deluxe and Arizona Brandy emerged as the top two queens, while Sum Ting Wong and Ivory Glaze landed in the bottom. Viñas and Arizona then lip-synced for their legacy to a track by a Thai-American artist, with Viñas clinching the win and her first RuBadge of the season.
As per the All Stars format, Viñas made the final decision — choosing to eliminate Sum Ting Wong.
Two episodes in, and the competition shows no signs of slowing down. With fiery rivalries, cross-cultural clashes, and powerhouse performances, ‘Slaysian Royale’ is proving to be one of the most dynamic spin-offs yet.
The winner of ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ will take home ₱2 million from BingoPlus, a year’s supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, and the honor of being the first-ever inductee into the Slaysian Hall of Fame.
