‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ saw a major redemption arc this week as Arizona Brandy claimed her first RuBadge following a show-stopping performance in the season’s Crazy Btch Slaysians* Rusical challenge.
After landing in the bottom during the “Holy Cacao” design episode, Arizona bounced back in spectacular fashion with her hilarious portrayal of Chef Lee Cum Queen, blending comedy, timing, and charisma in one of the season’s most memorable performances so far.
Her standout showing earned her a top placement alongside fellow Filipina queen Brigiding, who also impressed the judges with her strong runway presentation and dynamic acting performance.
Following the All Stars-style format, Arizona and Brigiding lip-synced for their legacy to “Cartoon Heroes” by Aqua, with Arizona ultimately taking the win — and the power to eliminate one of the bottom queens.
At the bottom this week were Kitty Space and Bernie, both of whom struggled with their Rusical performances. After deliberation, Arizona made the difficult decision to send Kitty Space home, explaining that she couldn’t bring herself to eliminate another Filipino queen.
The win marks a pivotal moment for Arizona, who has now cemented herself as one of the frontrunners of the competition after weeks of comedic confessionals and underdog moments.
The Crazy Btch Slaysians* Rusical, inspired by ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, also highlighted the queens’ range in acting, choreography, and comedic timing — proving that Slaysian Royale isn’t just about looks, but about storytelling and heart.
The winner of ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ will receive ₱2 million from BingoPlus, a year’s supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, and the distinction of becoming the first-ever inductee into the Slaysian Hall of Fame.
