Globe Business drives real-world AI adoption, transforming how teams collaborate and deliver

The modern workplace is struggling with a paradox: while AI promises a revolution, many businesses are stuck trying to figure out how to put it to work. The path to successful, company-wide adoption often lacks clarity, leaving organizations with powerful tools they don’t know how to use. The key to unlocking this potential is not just about the technology itself but about cultivating a mindset that sees AI as an empowering partner for every employee.

L-R: Carlo Pagulayan, Business Solutions Consultant at Globe Business; Adam Govan, SEA AI GTM Lead at Google; Erick Olavides, Enterprise Sales Lead at Google; and William Smith, Head of Mid Market & Small Business Sales, Asia at Zoom

The critical shift was the focus of the breakout sessions at G Summit 2025. The discussion moved past the theoretical benefits of AI to show how organizations can integrate it directly into daily workflows, turning it from a tool for IT professionals into a collaborative teammate for all.

Eprom Galang, Globe’s Head of Product Innovation, shared how this is already happening within the company. He revealed that Globe employees from various teams, not just IT, have created over 400 AI copilots to improve how they handle everyday tasks. These simple, intuitive solutions support functions like reviewing customer support conversations and answering procurement requests.

“These copilots weren’t built by engineers,” Galang said. “They were built by people who knew their problems deeply and wanted to solve them.”

Galang explained that Globe was able to scale these solutions by creating an “AI Kitchen,” a shared foundation of platforms and tools that lets any team build and reuse AI solutions. “Instead of focusing on the dishes, we built the kitchen,” he said. “That’s how we scaled, by making AI real and accessible.”

This people-centric approach was echoed by Globe’s technology partners. During the breakout session, Google Cloud and Zoom demonstrated how AI is becoming a part of the everyday toolkit. Adam Govan, Google Cloud’s AI Go-to-Market Lead for Southeast Asia, showed how platforms like Agentspace allow anyone, regardless of technical skill, to build and deploy an AI agent using just natural language. “You don’t need to be technical to create something that moves the needle,” said Govan. “With AgentSpace, we’re seeing sales teams, customer service teams, even operations, spin up their own agents in minutes. That’s how AI becomes truly embedded in the organization.”

Erick Olavides, Google Workspace Enterprise Sales Lead, then demonstrated the broader accessibility of AI within Google Workspace, showing how Gemini becomes a helpful presence across a user’s entire workflow.

Following this, Zoom reinforced the message with its AI Companion, which enhances meetings with real-time summaries, action items, and live translation in over 30 languages.

“People spend hours in meetings, but lose so much time chasing notes and follow-ups,” said William Smith, Zoom’s Head of Mid-Market and SMB Sales for Asia. “Our AI Companion changes that. It summarizes the conversation and organizes next steps, so your team can stay focused and aligned without lifting a finger.”

Together, these tools are improving productivity but more importantly, quietly transforming teams by turning AI into a daily partner, accessible and non-intrusive.

“AI is a powerful enabler for every individual and every team within an organization,” said KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business. “At Globe Business, our focus is on providing the integrated strategies and accessible solutions that empower Filipino enterprises to truly harness AI’s potential, transforming how work gets done and unlocking greater efficiency and innovation across their entire operations.”

The session closed with a clear takeaway: the future of work is not about replacing people but enabling them. By giving employees digital teammates to handle routine tasks, companies can make space for more creative thinking, strategic problem-solving, and human connection. Globe Business and its partners are committed to helping enterprises in the Philippines make this shift, fostering a culture that sees AI as an ally in building smarter, stronger, and more future-ready organizations.
