South Korean actor and singer Seo In-Guk returned to the Philippines on September 20 for his ‘2025 Asia Fan Meeting Tour: Heart Cookie’, held at the SM North EDSA Skydome, where he shared music, laughter, and heartfelt moments with his Filipino fans.

Presented by L-Squared Productions PH, the event was Seo’s second official fan meet in the country, following his 2023 visit. He also returned earlier this year when he was appointed as the Philippines’ Celebrity Tourism Ambassador for Korea.
Opening the evening with a performance of his hit ‘My Love,’ the Reply 1997 star greeted the packed crowd with warm Filipino phrases: “Magandang gabi! Kumusta naman kayo? Miss ko kayo.” The audience erupted into cheers, setting the tone for a night filled with kilig and emotional exchanges.

Throughout the program, Seo charmed fans with a mix of performances and interactive segments. One of the most memorable moments came when he serenaded the audience with Yeng Constantino’s ‘Ikaw,’ a heartfelt gesture that drew a loud sing-along. He also performed ‘Distant Fate’ from ‘Doom at Your Service’ and closed with touching renditions of ‘Couple’ and ‘All For You.’

The fan meet also featured playful games like the Heart Test drawing challenge and Heart Relay, where Seo gamely joined fans in Filipino childhood games such as sipa and ddakji. Lucky attendees received special gifts prepared by the actor himself, including signed Polaroids, cups, and even AirPods.
Adding to the emotional highlights, fans prepared a surprise video tribute thanking Seo for being their inspiration. Visibly moved, the Korean star responded: “I’m very thankful that my fans are actually doing a lot of good deeds in society, and I appreciate that so much. I feel like I’ve received a gift that is incomparable to anything. I want to be a person who, whenever you think of me, you’ll be proud of me. Thank you so much for being my fans. I am so proud of you.”

Seo also spoke about his craft and upcoming projects, sharing his love for “realistic everyday acting” and revealing that he is working on two new romantic comedies: ‘Boyfriend on Demand’ opposite BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and ‘Let’s Go to Work Tomorrow’ with Park Ji-hyun. He also expressed his interest in someday taking on an antagonist role.
The actor-singer capped the night with photos and farewell messages, assuring fans of his gratitude and eagerness to return. On September 23, he departed Manila to continue his tour with stops in Malaysia and Singapore.
Seo In-Guk, who first rose to fame as the winner of ‘Superstar K’ in 2009, has since built a celebrated career in both music and acting with hits like ‘Shopping King Louie’, ‘Café Minamdang’, ‘Death’s Game’, and ‘Twelve’. (with reports from Aldrine Benitez)
