Kapamilya actress and TV host Anne Curtis has joined the growing clamor for accountability in government as she expressed frustration over the lack of concrete results from the Senate hearings on the alleged multibillion-peso flood control corruption scandal.

In her Instagram Story, Anne reposted an art card from the advocacy page Follow The Trend Movement (FTTM), which read: “42 days since hearings on flood control project started. Wala pa ring napapanagot.”
Alongside the post, the It’s Showtime host wrote a brief but striking comment: “Ung totoo? Ano naaa po?”
Anne’s post reflects the sentiments of many Filipinos who have grown impatient over the slow progress of the investigation into alleged irregularities in flood control projects handled by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The actress, who has been vocal about social issues in recent months, previously took to social media to question where taxpayers’ money is going.
“Bilang mga taxpayers, it allows us to ask an important question: Saan ba talaga napupunta ‘yung taxes natin lahat?” she wrote.
“We all work hard. Some spend late nights away from their families, endure long commutes, and sadly, many still suffer the consequences of flooding and other hardships.”
Anne emphasized that she believes in paying taxes — but only if they are used transparently and for the public good.
“I DO BELIEVE in paying taxes — when they’re used for the growth of our nation, the betterment of our communities, and most importantly, in support of our fellow Filipinos who need the extra hand,” she said.
“Especially for the youth and children who don’t have access to proper nutrition and education.”
The actress concluded her earlier post with a call for unity and accountability: “It’s time we use our voices to END CORRUPTION in our country — para sa mga anak natin at para sa future generation of Filipinos. Para sa’yo, mahal namin Pilipinas!”
Anne was among the celebrities spotted participating in the Trillion Peso March last September 21, a mass protest urging the government to act decisively on corruption allegations and ensure that public funds are used properly.
