Rumors surrounding the relationship of celebrity couple Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay have intensified after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Ellen has dropped her husband’s surname from her Instagram profile and that Derek was absent from their daughter’s first birthday celebration.
On Tuesday, October 22, Ellen shared a series of photos and clips celebrating her daughter Baby Lily’s first birthday, writing in the caption: “Can’t believe my baby girl is already 1! Mama loves you, inday lengleng.”
The actress posted several videos from the intimate gathering on her Instagram Stories, showing a cheerful and heartwarming family celebration — but fans were quick to notice that Derek Ramsay was nowhere to be seen in any of the posts.
Adding to the speculation, Ellen’s Instagram profile name now reads simply “Ellen Adarna,” removing “Ramsay,” which she had used since marrying the actor in November 2021.
The move immediately drew reactions online, with fans expressing concern over the couple’s relationship status. Comments ranged from heartbreak to speculation: “Hala, hiwalay na ba sila?” “This is really sad. Still hoping they get back together.” “History repeats itself over and over and over again.”
Others tried to take a more reflective tone, writing: “May mga tao talaga na hindi sanay sa matagalang relationship… preference yun eh.”
Despite the buzz, both Ellen and Derek have yet to issue any statement about the status of their marriage.
Breakup rumors between the couple first surfaced in August 2025, when social media users began noticing fewer public interactions between the two. By September, Derek addressed the issue following claims made by online personality Xian Gaza, who alleged that the couple had separated.

Ellen, meanwhile, denied claims that she had unfollowed her husband on social media.
