Newly crowned Mister International 2025 Kirk Bondad is earning praise not only for his win in Thailand but also for his witty and good-natured response to a rather bold question from a curious netizen.

Fresh from his pageant victory, the Filipino-German model took to Instagram to interact with fans. Amid the congratulations and well-wishes, one follower directly asked him if he was gay — a question that Kirk handled with trademark humor and grace.
His short but cheeky reply? “Sometimes.”
The unexpected answer quickly went viral, drawing laughter and admiration from netizens who appreciated his calm and confident response.
“Atakeeee sumagot wahahaha,” one fan commented. “Good answer! Bakit kasi pinipilit siyang gawing gay?” another wrote.
Instead of taking offense, Kirk turned the question into a lighthearted moment — something that further endeared him to fans, who praised him for his quick wit and maturity.
The 31-year-old model and fitness coach has long been known for his easygoing personality and sense of humor. Following his win, Kirk returned to the Philippines earlier this week, where he was welcomed by fans and pageant supporters celebrating his historic victory.
Bondad, whose mother Jane hails from the Mountain Province, proudly carries his Igorot heritage. In the Mister World 2024 competition, he honored his roots through a national costume inspired by Cordilleran culture — a red bahag, feathered headdress, and hand-carved rice god figure designed by Andrew Visaya Jr.
Kirk also represented Baguio in Mister Pilipinas 2025 before advancing to the international stage, where his dedication and charisma finally earned him the crown.
Outside of pageantry, Kirk has built a career in modeling and fitness training and has been linked in the past to beauty queens Kathleen Paton and Lou Yanong. Despite public curiosity about his personal life, Kirk remains focused on his advocacy — promoting health, confidence, and cultural pride.
