Despite her ongoing health challenges, Kris Aquino couldn’t hide her joy and pride as her son Bimby Aquino continues to hone his musical talent through professional singing lessons.

In an Instagram post on October 12, the Queen of All Media shared a video of her 18-year-old son performing “Ikaw Na Nga” by Willie Revillame while undergoing voice training with Coach Thor Dulay.
“It’s been a very tough 8 weeks but somehow I survived,” Kris wrote in the caption. “This video is about my 2 boys. And why I’m fighting for them.”
Kris revealed that Bimby has been consistent with his voice lessons and is also being mentored by some “superstar titos” who help him develop stage presence and audience rapport.
“My 18-year-old has for now decided to continue with his singing lessons with Coach Thor (plus some superstar titos who have volunteered to teach him about stage presence and how to make audience rapport fun for all),” she shared.
The proud mom also expressed her deep gratitude to her son, who has stood by her side through her years-long medical journey.
“From the time he was 11, he’s been my companion every time I’ve had to be put to sleep for the numerous procedures I have undergone. A singing doctor—thank you, hunny, for being the embodiment of what mama had wished for,” Kris wrote.
Bimby’s return to vocal training follows last year’s reports that he was exploring opportunities in entertainment, with Kris previously teasing his possible entry into showbiz.
While Kris continues her treatment for multiple autoimmune diseases, she remains active on social media, frequently sharing updates about her health and family. Her latest post once again highlighted her strength as a mother and her unwavering motivation to fight her illnesses—for her sons, Josh and Bimby.
“This video is about my two boys,” Kris wrote. “They are the reason I continue to fight.”
