League of Legends: Wild Rift marks its fifth anniversary with a series of in-game events, global competitions, and a special music collaboration that celebrates the evolution of both the game and its players.

Leading the festivities is the release of “Miss This Life”, an upbeat electro-pop anthem performed by NINGNING of the K-pop powerhouse aespa in collaboration with Riot Games. The track draws inspiration from the journeys of Wild Rift players—paralleling the transition from college life to adulthood—and reflects the shared growth between the community and the game’s champions over the past five years.

The song will debut in-game and across major streaming platforms, accompanied by a music video that highlights nostalgic champion moments and emotional milestones from the Wild Rift universe.
“Five years in, Wild Rift has become more than a mobile MOBA—it’s a place where players’ stories grow alongside their favorite champions and their epic outplays,” said David Xu, Executive Producer of Wild Rift. “NINGNING’s ‘Miss This Life’ captures that shared sense of nostalgia and progress perfectly, channeling the emotion of discovery and anticipation of what’s next—just like Wild Rift players have done over these five amazing years.”
Alongside the anniversary celebration, Wild Rift introduces Nidalee, the fierce huntress from the original League of Legends roster, now making her debut in the mobile game. Her arrival promises a more dynamic and tactical jungle experience, appealing to both new and veteran players.
The fan-favorite AAARAM mode also receives an update, featuring pro player-inspired Augments designed to enhance strategic depth and replayability.
Meanwhile, Wild Rounds: SMASH, Wild Rift’s grassroots competitive series, continues to expand globally—now spanning over 20 regions and thousands of players. The next installment is set to take place in Vietnam from November 14 to 16, further showcasing the game’s thriving esports community.
Since its global launch, Wild Rift has become a cornerstone of mobile gaming, blending skill-based play with community-driven storytelling.
