Actress AJ Raval has confirmed long-standing rumors about her personal life, revealing that she is a mother of five children—three of whom she shares with her partner, actor Aljur Abrenica.
During an emotional interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ aired Wednesday, Raval addressed the speculation directly.
“Actually, Tito Boy, lima na po. I have five kids,” she revealed.
She went on to name her children, beginning with her eldest, Ariana, who is seven years old. Her second child, Aaron, she said, is already “an angel.”
Raval then named her three children with Abrenica: Aikina, Junior, and Abraham.
When asked why she finally decided to go public with the revelation, Raval said she wanted to end the years of speculation and give her children freedom.
“Gusto ko na pong matapos and gusto ko ng magkaroon ng freedom yung mga kids,” she explained. “Pinag-isipan ko po ito.”
The actress also shared that Abrenica’s children with his former wife, actress Kylie Padilla, have a close relationship with her kids.
“Naglalaro po sila lagi, and yung panganay ni Aljur, si Alas, very responsible sa mga bunso,” Raval said.
Reflecting on her journey as a young mother, Raval admitted that the experience was difficult at first but that her family’s support helped her overcome the challenges.
“At first, mahirap po. Pero siyempre, nandiyan po ‘yung pamilya ko, naka-suporta po sila. Kinaya naman po,” she said.
She also expressed her hopes for her children’s future, saying, “Maging mabuti silang bata, Tito Boy. ‘Wag silang gagaya sa akin.”
Raval’s revelation came after years of speculation about her relationship with Abrenica, who separated from Padilla in 2021. Raval had long denied being the reason for the couple’s breakup.
In September, AJ’s father, action star Jeric Raval, inadvertently confirmed that she already had children with Abrenica during a separate interview.
AJ and Aljur made their relationship public on Valentine’s Day in 2023, and later that year, Jeric publicly expressed his wish for Abrenica to marry his daughter.
Despite the controversy that has surrounded their relationship, AJ said her priority now is her children’s happiness and freedom.
