Actress Andrea Brillantes has been officially introduced as the Tanduay Calendar Girl for 2026.
The announcement was made during a media launch held on Friday night, November 14, 2025, at an events venue in Quezon City.
Brillantes, 22, said she was surprised when the offer was first presented to her, noting that she had to consider how her family and long-time supporters would feel about her posing for a sexy calendar.
“I was shocked at first… napaisip ako, ready na ba ako? Ready na ba yung mama ko, yung lola ko… ready na ba yung fans ko?” she said. “But then I got very super excited kasi I knew that this is something that I can do and I also wanted to do. I knew that I was ready.”
The actress added that the project marks a milestone in her career.
Brillantes, who recently transferred to TV5 under MQuest Ventures after 15 years with ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, is known for her roles in ‘Kadenang Ginto’, ‘Senior High’, and ‘High Street’. She has also appeared in films such as ‘Crazy Beautiful You’, ‘Everyday I Love You’, and ‘On the Job: The Missing 8’.
She joins the roster of Tanduay calendar muses that previously included Kim Chiu in 2025 and Julia Barretto in 2024.
During the launch, Brillantes also shared that she had recently recovered from COVID-19 before the calendar shoot, adding that she remained involved in planning the concept of the upcoming 2026 calendar. (with reports from Loyd Pino)
