Actress and host Dianne Medina revealed the scale of her success in live selling, describing how her regular three-hour livestream sessions generate substantial sales for the brands she works with.
Medina declined to disclose specific figures but noted that the revenue goes directly to partner brands.

“This is my passion. I love live selling. I love what I do,” she said during a media interview.
Medina said her approach is rooted in “old-fashioned values” such as dedication, honesty, and hard work, which she considers her foundation in becoming one of the most effective celebrity live sellers on platforms like Shopee and TikTok Shop.
The actress shared that she has been entrepreneurial since childhood, recalling that she sold clips to classmates at age eight and skincare products during high school. Her previous work as a TV host, news anchor, and events host became a strong advantage when she transitioned to live selling in 2023.
“When you do live selling, it is also talking,” she said. “It’s more of authenticity—how you tell a story and show your true self.”
Medina said her live selling journey began during the pandemic when fellow mothers approached her to help sell their products. She initially sold her own items before handling brand campaigns, eventually achieving million-peso sales per live.
Medina emphasized that she studies all products she promotes to give accurate information.
“If they ask me if it is lightweight, I say it is lightweight. I just tell them the truth,” she said. “You don’t sell just to generate income. You want repeat customers.”

She added that she learns from other live sellers and does not consider herself the best, saying, “I make sure to focus on my strength and I work really hard.”
Her work has earned her numerous honors, including:
- Shopee Stellar Livestreamer of the Year 2023
- Brand Choice of the Year Award 2023
- Top Content Creator of the Year 2025
- TikTok Shop Rising Content Creator of the Year 2023
- Buy Local Shop Local Allstar Award 2024
- Lifestyle Shopstar Spotlight 2025
She also supports local producers, such as rice farmers whose harvests she helped promote on TikTok Shop.
Medina and her husband, actor-dancer Rodjun Cruz, are currently investing in rental properties, continuing a family tradition in real estate. She shared that they are not planning to have more children after her difficult pregnancy with their daughter Isabella, during which she experienced fatty liver, preeclampsia, hypertension, and acute pancreatitis.
Aside from live selling, Medina hosts a business segment on PTV4 and manages multiple businesses but has declined recent acting offers due to her schedule.
“I’m not closing my doors to acting,” she said, “but I’m really busy with my business now.”
