Senator Robin Padilla gave his reaction to AJ Raval’s revelation that she and Aljur Abrenica now have three children together—news that quickly made headlines given that Aljur is the estranged husband of Padilla’s daughter, Kylie Padilla.

Laughing at first when asked, Robin said: “Wala… dapat bang may reaksiyon ako ro’n? Dapat si Kylie (ang mag-react)!”
But as Kylie’s father, Robin later addressed the matter more seriously.
“Wala naman akong masasabi kung hindi, good luck! Good luck sa lahat. Ang maganda, maayos sila. Hindi sila nag-aaway. Alam ko, lumalabas silang pamilya.”
Robin added that Kylie is mature and independent enough to handle her personal life.
“Matanda na naman si Kylie. Lumaking independent ang batang ‘yon. Mabuting ina, masipag. Wala siyang masyadong inaalala pa na mga ganyang usapin.”
When asked if he previously knew about Aljur’s three children with AJ, Padilla responded: “Wala akong alam sa ganyan. Pero, hindi naman kabigla-bigla ang ganyan sa panahon ngayon.”
Robin also shared a short message for Aljur: “Good luck nga. Magsipag ka lalo.”
And for Kylie: “Mahal na mahal kita. Lalo kang maging masipag dahil pahirap nang pahirap ang buhay ngayon. ’Tapos, ingatan mo naman ang sarili mo dahil nag-aalala ako kapag pumapayat ka. Hindi ako sanay na payat ang batang ’yon… Nalulungkot ako kapag nakikita ko.”
Robin described how close their homes are: “Kasi, isa lang naman ang bahay namin… pintuan lang. Kapag binuksan niya ang bintana, kita ko na siya.”
Aljur Abrenica now has a total of five children—three with AJ Raval and two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo, with Kylie Padilla.
Padilla spoke to entertainment media after signing a five-picture contract with Viva Films on Friday. The first film under the deal is “Bad Boy 3,” which has already completed shooting.
Robin admitted he missed working in showbiz.
“Oo, na-miss ko ‘to… Ito ang gusto ko… entertainment. Kaligayahan ng tao.”
Asked which he prefers more—politics or showbiz—he did not hesitate: “Ay showbiz… showbiz. Kasi nga masaya.”
Robin clarified that he will only film movies during Senate breaks.

Meanwhile, Viva also confirmed that Padilla’s partnership with the company includes titles across film, streaming, and free TV, marking his major return to the action genre that defined his career.
