ROKID, one of the world’s leading developers of AI and AR smart glasses — has officially launched in the country through a partnership with The Loop, a retail brand under Power Mac Center known for carrying both Apple and non-Apple products.

The partnership was formally announced during a press media conference held on October 29, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, where ROKID executives, The Loop representatives, and tech media gathered to witness the unveiling of the company’s groundbreaking smart glasses lineup.
Founded in 2014, ROKID has become a global leader in human-centered AI and AR innovation. The brand’s wearable devices — already recognized among the Top 500 global tech companies and a CES 2025 awardee — combine intuitive design, intelligent systems, and practical usability for entertainment, travel, navigation, and productivity.
According to Nicole Remiter, marketing representative from The Loop, the collaboration signifies a step toward expanding access to smart technologies for Filipino consumers:

“We are a multi-brand Apple and non-Apple retailer, and we’re growing our product line. Now we have ROKID for AI and AR innovation — for traveling, entertainment, navigation, and other services. You can now experience it in our Loop stores in Ayala Malls,” she said.
Alex Yuen from ROKID Global Hong Kong shared that the company already has a strong presence in six countries, with more than 500 users in Taiwan for its latest product line.
“With Power Mac and The Loop, our devices will now reach Filipino consumers,” he said.

He also demonstrated the glasses’ advanced features, including real-time language translation, voice command integration with ChatGPT, AI object recognition, and automatic transcription for meetings.
“You can use it to translate Chinese to Filipino, identify dog breeds, or even use it as a teleprompter. It listens to your speech and scrolls automatically,” Yuen explained.
Macgyver Yu, CEO of Miravelle Company, the exclusive Philippine distributor of ROKID, highlighted two flagship products:
ROKID AI Glasses – Lightweight at only 49g, equipped with open-ear audio, a 12MP camera, real-time translation, and YodaOS for smooth AI operation. It features 6 hours of music playback, 4 hours of Bluetooth calling, and 45 minutes of continuous video recording at 60 fps—perfect for content creators and professionals.
ROKID AR Joy – Dubbed as a “portable SMART TV for your eyes,” it projects movies and games on a 360-inch virtual screen. It supports Android TV apps, Zoom meetings, and gaming, all in private view. With directional speakers, power bank support, and 75g weight, it’s ideal for on-the-go entertainment.
Yu added that the glasses are myopia-friendly, allowing users to adjust focus without needing prescription lenses. A partnership with Vision Express is also in the works for customized optical integration.
Justo Chang of ROKID emphasized that the company’s technology is already being used by major industries, particularly in China’s new energy automotive sector, where over 70% of brands utilize ROKID’s AR systems for training and operations.
The potential applications extend beyond enterprise — from assisting persons with disabilities (PWDs) through AI-enabled sensory aids, to empowering Filipino developers to create localized AR and AI experiences.
ROKID smart glasses will first roll out in seven select The Loop stores, with plans to expand to all 50 branches nationwide. Customers can try out live demos and experience the technology firsthand.
“Your lifestyle will evolve,” said Yu. “Whether for work, play, or creativity, ROKID brings a new level of connectivity and intelligence to everyday life.” (with reports from Loyd Pino)
