In ‘WANNA KISS’, ALICIA DC entertains the idea of exploring one’s sexuality with other people while still being in a relationship. Singaporean hip-hop artist ABANGSAPAU features on this track as well, giving his own take on the topic as well.
‘WANNA KISS’ also marks a new beginning for ALICIA DC, where she is shifting towards more minimalistic melodies and repeating dance grooves, with the aim to create music that listeners can resonate with while maintaining the authenticity of her songwriting.
Alicia Diva Chandra, aka ALICIA DC is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Singapore. Her music treads a thin line between a conventional pop music sound and blunt, authentic lyrics.
From her debut EP ‘Maybe’ (2022) to her most recent single ‘Circles’ (2024), ALICIA DC has displayed her versatility and range as a producer, from acoustic ballads to trap pop. She has also collaborated with various artists such as Gabba, CERATONE and June Pan. Most recently, she performed as the opening act for the 2025 AXEAN FESTIVAL.
For her future releases, ALICIA DC aims to narrow in on making “dance music” her sound as ALICIA DC.
