Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith has firmly denied rumors circulating online that she underwent cosmetic enhancement, particularly on her nose.
The speculation surfaced after some netizens pointed out supposed changes in her appearance from recent photos and public appearances—including during the grand mediacon of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry Manila’s Finest, where Jasmine is part of the cast.

In a social media post on Saturday, December 6, Jasmine directly addressed the rumors making rounds on Reddit and other online platforms.
“I’ve seen the Reddit rumor and comments. No, I haven’t gotten anything done to my face,” the actress wrote.
Jasmine explained that any perceived change in her facial features likely stemmed from natural factors.
“I have gained 6kgs from my recent trip to Australia and have been crying on and off for a few days. Hope this settles and cures your curiosities,” she added.
According to Jasmine, it has become emotionally draining to constantly see comments about her weight and appearance.
“I gain a little and apparently I got botched work done, I lose a little and I’ve got an eating problem. Not trying to win over anyone, but it’s bothersome to read the comments,” she said.
Following her statement, Jasmine’s supporters flocked to the comments section to comfort and defend her.
Beyond defending herself from body-shaming, Jasmine has also been active in speaking up on social and political issues. Recently, she joined a September 21 protest to condemn alleged anomalies in government flood control projects, expressing her frustration over the recurring hardships faced by students and families every time disasters strike.
Reporters who attended the ‘Manila’s Finest’ mediacon noted no significant difference in Jasmine’s appearance, further strengthening her clarification.
