Shuvee Etrata became visibly emotional as she stepped back onto the ‘It’s Showtime’ stage this week to promote her Metro Manila Film Festival entry ‘Call Me Mother’, headlined by Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre.

Following the appearance, Shuvee shared a carousel of photos from their guesting on social media, captioned simply, “Grateful to be back.”
The post quickly drew warm reactions from fellow celebrities and fans, including Jackie Gonzaga, with many expressing excitement over her return.

‘Call Me Mother’ is directed by Jun Robles Lana and features several of Shuvee’s fellow ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemates, including Mika Salamanca, Klarisse de Guzman, Brent Manalo, and Esnyr.
Her appearance on ‘It’s Showtime’ also helped put to rest months of online speculation about a possible falling out with Vice Ganda. Earlier in 2025, particularly around September and October, Shuvee’s absence from the show sparked rumors of a “sudden exit” or backstage issues. With her return now publicly tied to the promotion of ‘Call Me Mother’, those theories appear to have been resolved.
The MMFF entry ‘Call Me Mother’ is currently showing in cinemas nationwide.
