As part of its 30th Anniversary, GMA Network’s talent arm, Sparkle GMA Artist Center moves forward with a renewed mission: to inspire positivity and compassion. This vision comes to life through its advocacy “Click Kindness”, an anti-bullying campaign that aims to reach people both online and offline.
In today’s digital age, where artists and fans alike often face harsh criticism and online bashing, Sparkle’s call to ‘Click’ kindness resonates deeply. This campaign takes a subtle yet powerful approach, focusing on mental health and empathy.
Recently, Sparkle unveiled a special video campaign was made led by its brightest homegrown talents–Alden Richards, Julie Anne San Jose, Ruru Madrid, Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Ysabel Ortega, Shuvee Etrata, Ashley Ortega, Allen Ansay, Rita Daniela, Jessica Villarubin, Roxie Smith, and Prince Carlos–emphasizing the message “Change starts when you choose to care”. The video invites everyone to join in making a difference, one click at a time. Joining forces in this kind of advocacy will make a greater impact to all.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards shared in his recent speech in Sparkle’s celebration, “Madali naman tayong magpakita ng magandang katangian sa tunay na mundo. So siyempre, gamitin din natin ito online, because our reach online combined is very powerful, lahat ng posts natin dapat nagbibigay ng inspirasyon, hindi nagbibigay ng hateful feedback, hindi nang-aaway, kundi nagbibigay ng pag-mamahal.” He then ended it with a reminder, “Kindness goes a long way, and it starts with all of us… with you, with me, and everyone online”
Sparkle encourages everyone to continue to flood the digital world with kindness using the hashtag #ClickKindness, with high hopes to create a ripple effect that extends far beyond its fan base–because kindness benefits everyone.
