Kapuso comedienne Chariz Solomon has publicly aired her frustration over what she claims are unpaid talent fees from Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE, Inc.), the former producer of the defunct noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’.

Chariz made the remarks during a recent episode of the vodcast ‘Your Honor’, where she was joined by former ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ co-host Dasuri Choi. While recalling their time on the show, Chariz jokingly—but pointedly—brought up the issue of non-payment.
“‘Di ba magkasama pa nga tayo sa ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ noon? Hindi pa nga tayo bayad,” Chariz said with a laugh.
She followed this with a more direct appeal to the production company: “Hoy, 2026 na TAPE! Baka naman. Hindi na ako mabait. ‘Yan ang New Year’s Resolution ko. Gagawan na natin ‘to ng solution.”
The comments quickly gained traction online, with netizens reacting to the revelation that the issue may have dragged on for years. According to Chariz, the alleged unpaid fees date back to their stint as hosts of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’, which aired on GMA Network after ‘Eat Bulaga!’ lost its title following a legal battle won by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon.
Dasuri Choi echoed Chariz’s sentiments during the same episode, expressing hope that the matter would finally be resolved this year.
“Magta-tatlong taon na. Hopefully this 2026,” she said.
Comedian Buboy Villar, who was also part of the show’s hosting lineup, reportedly agreed with Chariz’s statements and shared similar concerns about delayed payments.
‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ also featured hosts such as Paolo Contis and Isko Moreno. The program went off the air in early 2024 amid reports of financial troubles. Prior to its cancellation, industry rumors circulated that TAPE, Inc. had accumulated debts amounting to hundreds of millions of pesos, including obligations to GMA Network.
In May 2025, TAPE, Inc. was also linked to a reported ₱38-million estafa complaint filed by GMA Network over unpaid advertising revenues.
As of this writing, TAPE, Inc. has not released any official statement responding to Chariz Solomon’s remarks or to the allegations regarding unpaid talent fees.
