Actress Elisse Joson has firmly denied rumors accusing her of being a “kabit,” saying she was never a third party in anyone’s relationship.

Joson addressed the issue through a TikTok post on Thursday, January 1, where she was seen lip-syncing to the viral Taco Truck x VB and Radio mashup. Accompanying the video was a pointed message meant to close the chapter on the controversy.
“Goodbye 2025. Time to clear the air—not a kabit. Never was. 2026: minding my own business, building, and choosing peace,” Joson wrote.
She added, “Leaving false narratives in 2025. Entering 2026 lighter.”
The actress did not specify which allegation she was responding to, but her statement came after years of online speculation linking her to various rumored relationships. Despite the buzz, Joson has consistently avoided confirming or denying past issues—until now.
In the comments section, while many followers expressed support, one netizen accused her of being the cause of a breakup. Joson directly replied with a firm “no.”
Joson also welcomed the new year by reflecting on her personal journey, sharing moments from 2025 that prominently featured her daughter, Felize.
“The year that broke me and quietly rebuilt me. Thank you, 2025. Hello, 2026. I’m excited for you! Wishing the new year to be kinder to you in all the ways you need,” she wrote in a separate post.

In recent years, Joson had been linked to several controversies, including rumors involving actor Joshua Garcia and basketball player Kobe Paras. None of these claims were confirmed by the actress.
She was also previously rumored to be a third party in the breakup of Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla, allegations that were never addressed by those involved. Padilla has since clarified that AJ Raval was not the third party in their split.
Joson was in an on-and-off relationship with actor McCoy De Leon, with whom she shares a daughter. The two confirmed their final breakup in July 2025 and are currently co-parenting Felize.
