The second night of ‘BingoPlus Musikalingawan sa Sinulog Festival 2026’ turned Plaza Independencia into a sea of music, emotion, and celebration as powerhouse vocalists Jona Viray and Sheryn Regis delivered unforgettable performances before thousands of festivalgoers on Saturday night, January 18.

Despite light rain threatening to interrupt the show, the weather seemed to relent as the two divas took the stage at Plaza Independencia. The crowd stayed put until the very end, undeterred by the late hour, drawn in by the singers’ vocal mastery and emotionally charged setlists.

Jona electrified the audience with her hit song ‘Pusong Ligaw,’ showcasing her signature control and soaring range, while Sheryn Regis—proud Cebuana and known as the ‘Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs’—brought the house down with her classic ‘Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.’

Their performances prompted thunderous applause and sing-alongs, affirming their status as two of the country’s most respected vocalists.
Headlining Day 2 alongside Jona were singer-songwriter and actor Patrick Quiroz and Jed Madela, both of whom delivered crowd-pleasing renditions of Filipino favorites. Closing the night was Cebu pride and ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ grand champion Kent Villarba, whose energetic and emotionally driven set earned one of the loudest ovations of the evening.

Now in its third year as part of the Sinulog celebrations, BingoPlus once again served as co-presenter of the country’s biggest festival. Its flagship event, BingoPlus Musikalingawan sa Sinulog 2026, was staged over two days—January 17 and 18—featuring world-class performances, interactive games, raffle prizes, and community-focused initiatives.

The celebration also welcomed stars from BingoPlus’ GMA vertical drama projects, including Andrea Torres (Babae sa Bintana), Michael Sager (A Masked Billionaire Who Stole My Heart), and Herlene Budol (Toyang To Forget). The trio delighted the crowd with playful interactions and a lively budots dance, while inviting Cebuanos to support the digital drama series.
Adding to the excitement were on-site games and raffle draws, with prizes ranging from BingoPlus premium merchandise and smart TVs to a laptop, gas stove, and a brand-new motorcycle as the grand prize.
Beyond entertainment, the event carried a deeper purpose. DigiPlus Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., distributed ₱1.5 million worth of recovery assistance to families and students affected by a series of disasters that hit Cebu City throughout 2025.
Earlier in the festivities, BingoPlus also joined the Sinulog Grand Parade with its electropical-themed float, turning Cebu’s streets purple. Delegates from the DigiPlus Foundation and partner influencers waved to cheering crowds, while GMA primetime star Sanya Lopez performed her original song ‘Hot Maria Clara’ during the Sinulog 2026 Grand Finale at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
