The stolen cellphone of actor Lance Carr has reportedly ended up in China months after it was taken during a fan event in Quezon City.

Carr shared the update during a media conference for the upcoming Viva One series ‘Hell University’, where he is part of the cast. According to the actor, his phone was stolen after the Vivarkada Concert held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on August 15, 2025.
A video circulating on social media at the time showed a woman discreetly taking Carr’s cellphone from his pocket while he was busy interacting with fans. However, the suspect was never identified, and the phone was not recovered.
Using the “Find My Phone” feature, Carr was able to track the device’s movements—from Quezon City to San Juan City, and eventually out of the country.
“Ang update sa cellphone ko, nasa Shenzhen, Guangdong, China na po siya ngayon. Nag-mall stop muna siya sa Greenhills bago pumunta ng China,” Carr said, confirming the phone’s latest location.
He added that he initially considered checking phone shops in Greenhills but eventually let it go.
“Nu’ng unang-una po talaga, nasa Greenhills siya. Pero I mean, sino ba naman ang aamin kung iisa-isahin ko ‘yung mga cellphone store doon, so binalewala ko na lang,” he said.
“Nung nakita ko na bagong location niya, nasa China na siya,” Carr added.
Despite the incident, the actor said he was not overly worried, as he was confident that no sensitive information or private videos were stored on the device. He also said he had already replaced the phone.

The story drew laughter during the press conference when Carr mentioned the ₱20,000 reward that his friend and fellow actor Marco Gallo was heard offering in a viral video taken shortly after the theft.
In the clip, Gallo was seen calling out to the crowd, offering a cash reward for the return of Carr’s phone. Carr later clarified that the reward would have come from him—not Gallo.
“Wala akong P20,000 na dala ngayon ta’s magpapa-reward ka,” Carr joked, recalling what he told his friend.
Carr, 24, is among the cast members of ‘Hell University’, a mystery-thriller series set to premiere on Viva One.
