Actors Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji turned emotional during the successful red-carpet premiere of their launching film ‘A Werewolf Boy’, held Monday night at SM Megamall.

Before the screening, Muji delivered a heartfelt message thanking the people behind the Philippine adaptation of the 2012 Korean film originally starred by Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young.
“My heart is so full,” she began.
She first expressed gratitude to God for what she described as “endless blessings,” then thanked the Viva leadership for believing in her. “To Viva, to Boss Vic for seeing the potential in me and for changing the trajectory of my life, Boss Veronique, who is like our mother, for guiding us in everything that we do, Boss Vincent, Val, all Viva bosses,” Muji said.
She also acknowledged her family and loved ones, including her father and relatives who have passed on, whom she called her “home.”
Muji paid special tribute to director Crisanto Aquino, saying, “Thank you for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself… for bringing out the best in us on set.”
She ended her message by thanking her co-star. “To my leading man, Rabin, thank you for being my strength and for walking this journey with me.”
After the screening, emotions ran high as the audience reacted warmly to the film. Angeles, Muji, and Aquino were seen sharing tight hugs as the crowd applauded.

Angeles addressed the audience and made special mention of his mother, who was present at the premiere. “Sa mommy ko, ‘Ma, may movie na ’ko’,” he said proudly.
He then turned to Muji and added, “Hindi ko magagawa ‘to nang wala ka sa tabi ko.”
Earlier on the red carpet, the pair—popularly known as RabGel—also reacted to the positive buzz from advance screenings. Muji admitted that the early praise was both rewarding and nerve-wracking. “Sobrang sarap po sa puso, nakakatuwa. Pero at the same time mas nakakakaba,” she said.
Produced by Viva Films, Studio Viva, and CJ ENM, the film also stars Candy Pangilinan, Yayo Aguila, Jeffrey Hidalgo, and Albie Casiño, with a special participation by Lorna Tolentino.
‘A Werewolf Boy’ opens in cinemas nationwide starting January 14, with a reduced ticket price of ₱275 to make the film more accessible to moviegoers.
