More than a year after her separation from Gerald Sibayan, veteran comedian-actress Aiai delas Alas made it clear that she is no longer open to dating younger men—and that marriage is no longer part of her plans.

Speaking during a media conference for her upcoming film ‘Batang Paco’, Aiai was candid when asked if she would still consider being romantically involved with someone younger.

“Hindi na ako papatol sa bata. Ayoko na. May age limit na. Tapos na, tapos na, tapos na,” she said.

The actress, who has previously been married three times—two of them to younger partners—shared that if she were to entertain the idea of dating again, it would be with someone closer to her age.

“Siguro mga 50. Ayoko ng mga 70, aalagaan ko pa sarili ko. ‘Yung sinasabi ng mga tao, baka swak ako sa afam—ang dating naman sa’kin, Pilipino nga hindi kami magkaintindihan. Mahirap kasing mag-converse pagdating sa emosyon,” she explained.

Aiai also firmly stated that she has no intention of getting married again.

“Never na ako magpapakasal. Kagaya ng ayoko sa bata, ayoko na ring magpakasal,” she said without hesitation.

She confirmed that she and Sibayan had signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding in 2017, adding that she remains hopeful that financial issues will not become a problem between them.

“May prenup kami, so if ever. Pero feel ko hindi naman gan’un si Gerald… Dadating ang araw na mapapatawad ko rin siya,” she added.

Now embracing single life, Aiai said she is leaving matters of the heart to faith and fate.

“Kung ‘yun ang plano sa’kin ng Diyos, okay din naman akong single. Hindi naman ako magpapakaplastik—malungkot ding mag-isa. Ang hirap magsalita nang tapos. Pero kapag nainlove ako, sobra kasi akong magmahal,” she admitted.

Despite her personal declarations, Aiai remains busy and energized professionally. She stars alongside Empoy Marquez in ‘Batang Paco’, a comedy-drama about a tattoo artist whose quiet life turns dark after his daughter is taken from him. Aiai plays a politician in the film, which also features Ynez Veneracion, Chichi Rita, Cassy Lavarias, Richard Quan, and Mon Confiado.
