Actress and television host Toni Gonzaga looked back fondly on her long-running stint on ‘Pinoy Big Brother’, describing it as a defining chapter of her life that she remembers with gratitude and no regrets.

Gonzaga was the latest guest on the vlog ‘Luis Listens’ by Luis Manzano, where they celebrated her birthday and talked about their early careers, personal growth, and their shared experience as hosts on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus’.
During the conversation, Manzano asked Gonzaga what she misses most about ‘Pinoy Big Brother’. She responded candidly, naming her fellow hosts but also offering a deeper reflection on how she views that period of her life.
“Mariel [Padilla], Bianca [Gonzalez], everyone. But you know kapag tinatanong ‘yang miss, parang ganito ‘yan eh — tatanungin kita, nami-miss mo ba ang mga ex mo? Bago ko sagutin ‘yan, nami-miss mo ba?” Gonzaga said.
Manzano replied, “Alam mo may uuwian akong pamilya.”
Gonzaga then explained why she finds the question of “missing” the show difficult to answer.
“So ‘yun ang sinasabi ko. When you ask that question, hindi mo siya masasagot na ‘Ah na mi-miss ko ‘yung ganoon,’ because that was a season in a time of your life,” she said. “That when you look back, you are happy. You gave it your all. You gave your best. You gave your 100%. So you look at that season with no regrets and you look at that season na parang naibigay mo na lahat.”
Gonzaga said she remains deeply grateful for the many years she spent on the reality show, which she credited for shaping her as a host.
“It was a season in my life and I was grateful for the 16, 17 years na inilaan ko sa ‘PBB’. That was a special time in my life that will always hold a special memory in my heart,” she shared. “Kasi it also made me the host that I am today and I learned a lot from that era.”
Gonzaga stepped down as host of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ in early 2022, during the run of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Connect’. Despite her exit, she emphasized that her years on the show remain a meaningful and cherished chapter in her personal and professional journey.
