Vice Ganda could not contain excitement and pride after husband Ion Perez clinched a gold medal in the recently concluded ATTCK UNRSTRKTD (Attack Unrestricted) cycling race in Nueva Ecija.
The competition is no ordinary ride. Participants endured a grueling 240-kilometer route packed with challenging trails, river crossings, and long stretches of open roads — a true test of endurance, strength, and mental grit. It is widely considered one of the toughest cycling races in the country.
In his Instagram appreciation post, Ion wrote: “Pain is temporary but quitting is forever, Thank G all goods!”
Vice immediately reacted in the comments: “I’m so excited for you to be home babe ko. Gusto kita yakapin ng mahigpit. Ang galing mo!!!”
But she didn’t stop there. In a separate post, the Unkabogable Star shared a heartfelt message celebrating Ion’s achievement:
“You wanted it. Worked hard for it. And you made it. I see the battles you silently face everyday. I root for you. Even if it’s really hard you always choose to get up and try. You are winning babe. You are winning! And I am very very proud of you!!! I love you so much Noi ko!”
Ion responded with gratitude: “Maraming salamat sa LOVE and SUPPORT mo asawa ko! I love youuuu.”
To which Vice sweetly replied: “YOU ARE WORTH IT BABE!”

Both Vice and Ion have had their share of victories. Vice previously won Best Actor at the MMFF, while Ion now adds a gold medal to his growing list of achievements as an athlete.
