Claudine Barretto has taken swift action against a Facebook account allegedly impersonating her, confirming that the matter has already been referred to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for tracing.

In a strongly worded post on her official Facebook account, the actress called on her supporters to report the fake profile.
“Palanggas & Claudinians & RYCB This is my PERSONAL ACCOUNT. pls Report this account posing as my Official & Personal account. pina tre trace napo sa NBI ngayon. thank u & I luv u all. Sis Kate Brios thank you,” Claudine wrote.
A friend of the actress, Kate Brios, also urged netizens to report the poser account, stressing that Claudine only maintains verified accounts marked with a blue check.
“Hii everyone, please report her because poser po siya at nag papangap siya na si mommy Claudine… isa lang po ang account ni Claudine Barretto is naka blue check po, wala na po ibang acc si Claudine Barretto,” Brios posted.
Supporters commended Claudine for acting quickly to prevent potential victims from being misled by the fake account.
Aside from the impersonation issue, Claudine recently stirred intrigue online with a cryptic message about a past relationship.
“You broke me & now u want me back? wala akong binabalikan!” she wrote in a separate post.
The statement prompted speculation among followers about whom she was referring to. However, social media comments from fans clarified that the message was not directed at former partners Raymart Santiago or Mark Anthony Fernandez.
Some netizens speculated that the post may have alluded to another past relationship, though Claudine has since remained silent on the matter.
