Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro expressed appreciation for the collaborative and empowering environment behind their upcoming girls’ love (GL) film ‘I Fell, It’s Fine’, citing the strong presence of women in key creative roles.

During the film’s media conference, Ramos praised the team led by director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, emphasizing the impact of working alongside “driven and passionate women.”
“I wanna say that I’m proud of everyone on this table. It’s really amazing what a bunch of able, smart, powerful women can make happen,” Ramos said.
The film follows Anne (De Castro), a woman coping with the collapse of her marriage while managing a wellness resort, who meets the free-spirited Chicks (Ramos), ultimately changing her life.
For De Castro, having a female director added to the comfort and authenticity of the project.
“We’re just so happy that Direk Sigrid ang direktor namin, and when the script was [given] to us, gusto ko ng babaeng direktor kasi I feel more comfortable dahil sa point of view ng babae, same wavelength namin,” she shared.
She also underscored the importance of trust and respect throughout the production process.
“Sobrang grateful ako to be surrounded by women who are driven and passionate. For this film to happen, ang dami naming pinagdaanan talaga… kailangan namin i-trust at respetuhin ang isa’t isa,” De Castro said.
Ramos, meanwhile, highlighted Bernardo’s clarity and openness as a director, noting how it shaped her performance.
“Direk Sigrid is very particular, and she knows exactly what she wants, which I appreciate. When [we’re ready to do the scene], I’m ready to abandon my thoughts and replace them with hers,” she explained.
She added that adaptability is a key lesson she took from the experience, both in acting and in life.

The film also stars Elizabeth Oropesa, Rafael Rosell, Queenay Mercado, Alchris Galura, and Ice Arago. Produced by Wide International Film & Entertainment, I Fell, It’s Fine marks another on-screen reunion for Ramos and De Castro, who previously worked together in ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter’.
The GL film is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on April 4.
