Rising pair JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith shared a sweet and meaningful story behind one of their most memorable gifts to each other—the infinity ring.
During their guesting on PUSH Bets, the two were asked about their favorite gifts they’ve received from one another. JM revealed that his favorite present from Fyang was a pocket gimbal camera, while Fyang pointed to a ring given by JM.
According to JM, the idea of giving Fyang a ring initially started as something spontaneous. However, he later clarified that the infinity symbol on the ring carries a special meaning.
Fyang, on the other hand, admitted she was puzzled about how JM managed to buy the ring without her noticing.
“Magkasama kami buong araw, so hindi ko alam kung paano siya nakabili ng singsing,” she said.
JM then revealed how he pulled off the surprise.
While they were together the entire day, he took the opportunity to buy the ring when Fyang was resting inside the car—making the gesture even more thoughtful and unexpected.
The pair also opened up about how their relationship has evolved following their stint on “Pinoy Big Brother.” From building stronger chemistry to supporting each other through personal and professional challenges, JM and Fyang shared how their bond has deepened over time.
They are currently working together on the film ‘Almost Us’, directed by Tonet Jadaone and Dan Villegas, where they continue to grow as actors.
Beyond work, the two also shared personal memories, including a spontaneous trip to Mount Pulag and a surprise date in Antipolo—moments that fans rarely get to see but have become meaningful milestones in their relationship.
