Adult content creator and actress Salome Salvi released an official statement following a criminal complaint filed against her at the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.

The complaint was lodged by Dr. Michael Raymond Apacible Aragon, chairman of the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, alleging violations of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
In a statement sent to the media, Salvi said she would not comment further on the matter beyond her official response.
“Upon careful consideration, I have decided not to comment further on this matter beyond the following statement.”
She also acknowledged the responsibility that comes with being a public figure.
“As a public figure, I am acutely aware of the responsibility that comes with the platform I was given.”
According to Salvi, she has always exercised caution in sharing information online.
“I have always done and forever will be doing my due diligence in making sure that the information I share and disseminate does not do harm upon others, and that my voice does not encroach upon others’ right to their freedom of speech.”
However, she stressed that she also has the right to express herself freely.
“However, I also reserve the right to my own freedom of expression, and the right to be protected from unjust and unethical censorship of my voice.”
Aragon personally filed the criminal complaint against Salvi and vlogger-podcaster Brian Babilonia.
In his sworn statement before prosecutors, Aragon emphasized that the issue goes beyond content creation and involves the protection of minors from potentially harmful material online.
“The bottomline here is to protect our children against the clear and present dangers that unregulated social media pose to their innocent minds.”
He also cited the words of national hero Jose Rizal to highlight the importance of safeguarding the youth.
“Ang sabi ni Dr. Jose Rizal ay ang mga kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan.”
Aragon added that individuals who produce or distribute content that may negatively affect young audiences should be held accountable under the law.
Meanwhile, Salvi’s manager Mark Ranel Grabador said they have not yet received a copy of the complaint.
In a Facebook post, Grabador explained that Salvi would refrain from giving further statements until a formal document is served.
He also clarified that contrary to claims made by the complainant’s camp, they have not received any request to remove the alleged posts in question.
“Sa kasalukuyan ay wala pa kami natatanggap na kopya ng reklamo at napagkasunduan na hindi muna magbibigay ng pahayag sa ngayon si Salome patungkol sa isyu.”
Grabador added that Salvi respects the views and beliefs of those who filed the complaint.
“Malawak at malalim ang pagtingin ni Salome sa kanyang ginagawa. At naniniwala ako na hindi gagawin ni Salome ang mga bagay na alam niyang ikasisira ng kalooban ng marami lalo na kung ito ay labag sa batas.”
For now, the case remains under evaluation by prosecutors in Makati. Authorities will determine whether there is sufficient basis for the complaint to proceed to court.
