Comedienne and singer Tuesday Vargas expressed concern over an incident involving television host Willie Revillame and a female dancer-host during a recent episode of the game show ‘Wilyonaryo’.

The moment began when dancer-host Elay mistakenly delivered a line while introducing the show. Instead of saying “ticket,” she accidentally said a different word while addressing viewers.
“Happy Thursday, everyone! Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao! Hawakan na ang mga titi… hawakan na ang mga ticket at tumutok sa Wilyonaryo!” she said while laughing at the mistake.
In a Facebook post on March 6, Vargas clarified that the slip of the tongue itself did not bother her. Instead, she said she was troubled by Revillame’s reaction afterward.
“Hindi ako nabahala sa ‘Hawakan ang mga…’ Nabahala ako sa sinabi nung main host at nang mwestra pa na parang mananampal ng babae sabay sabi ‘hahampasin kita dyan eh,’” Vargas wrote.
She also questioned whether such gestures should be normalized on television.
“Kelan at sino ba ang nagsabi na normal gawin yan? Reviewhin nyo yung footage.”
Footage from the episode shows Revillame correcting the dancer-host’s line before jokingly raising his hand as if to slap her, which sparked discussion online. Some viewers agreed with Vargas that the gesture appeared inappropriate, while others defended the TV host, saying he was only joking.
The incident happened as Revillame returned to television with ‘Wilyonaryo’, a new program that followed his earlier show ‘Wil To Win’ after his unsuccessful senatorial bid.
As of writing, Revillame has not issued a statement regarding Vargas’ remarks or the reaction to the episode.
