DJ and content creator Jellie Aw has spoken out to defend her former fiancé Jam Ignacio, denying claims that he physically abused her again as tensions escalate within her family.
In a lengthy open letter posted on Facebook, Jellie addressed accusations made by her siblings, particularly her younger sister, who allegedly claimed that Ignacio had once again hurt her.
“Sa TOTOO lang tayo mga Kapatid di natin kaylangan gumawa ng kwento. Unang una Sa kapatid kong Bunso hindi totoo yung pinag kakalat mo na binugbog ako ulit ni Jam,” she wrote.
“Wag naman ganyan naapektuhan negosyo ng tao my mga anak din yung tao na binubuhay,” she added, emphasizing the impact of such allegations on Ignacio.
Jellie also revealed that despite their past issues, Ignacio had made efforts to reconcile with her family.
“After the issue Lumipad tayo ng buong Family Sa Japan dahil kay jam dahil gusto nya maging maayos ang lahat,” she said.
She further defended Ignacio’s character, acknowledging past mistakes but insisting he has since shown remorse.
“Nagkamali ng isang beses yung tao pero nakita nyo naman na pinagsisihan nya yung ginawa nya… Alam ko na may mali din ako sa part ko lalo pag nakakainom at si jam sumasalo ng lahat ng yon,” she admitted.
The DJ also accused her siblings of dragging Ignacio into their personal dispute to divert attention from their own issues.
“SANA bago nyo siraan c Jam sana nagbayad ka muna ng UTANG… ok lang sana ako nlang siraan nyo wag na ibang tao kasi d naman sya kasali sa issue ng FAM para takpan kagaguhan nyong ginawa c jam sinangkalan nyo tlga?” she said.
Amid the ongoing conflict, Jellie maintained that she has fulfilled her responsibilities as the family’s breadwinner and denied accusations that she neglected her obligations.
“Hindi rin totoo na issue ang PERA dahil pag dating kay mama never akong pumalya sa allowance,gamot at check up nya alam ni mama yan at ALAM MO YAN!” she stated.
She also pushed back against claims minimizing her financial contributions, saying, “Marami nakong napatunayan bilang ATE nyo at bilang BREADWINNER! Nag aaral palang ako tumutulong nako sa inyo never ako nanumbat.”
Jellie concluded her statement by expressing emotional exhaustion over the situation but reaffirmed her continued care for her family, particularly their mother.
“This time hahayaan kona kayo pero nandto padin ako… yan ang hindi ko kaya tiisin pamilya ko pero ngayon si mama nlang ang FOCUS ko,” she said.
