Actor JM De Guzman melted hearts after openly expressing his love for girlfriend Donnalyn Bartolome during a public event.
At the advance screening of his upcoming series ‘My Bespren Emman’ at Gateway Cinema, JM did not hesitate to say a loud and heartfelt “I love you” to Donnalyn in front of the crowd—drawing cheers and kilig reactions from those in attendance.
During a media interview, JM was teased about his seemingly renewed drive and whether he was already preparing for marriage.
Laughing, he admitted: “Hahahaha! Pero isa sa mga goals ko ‘yan!”
When asked if this could happen soon, he clarified: “Opo! … Ay, hindi pa! Hahahaha!”
While not immediate, the actor confirmed that marrying Donnalyn is part of his long-term goals.
Donnalyn also showed her unwavering support by attending the screening, despite JM being paired with Shaina Magdayao in the series.
Fans praised the content creator for her confidence and supportiveness as a partner.
JM, meanwhile, shared how Donnalyn plays a big role in his lifestyle transformation.
“Si Donna, siya ang aking nutritionist. Siya ang nagbabantay ng pagkain ko… Pag nagki-crave ako, siya ang nagtatago ng pagkain. Siya ang nagpi-prepare ng tubig, basta lahat,” he said.
The actor also credited ‘My Bespren Emman’ for helping him reconnect spiritually, which in turn influenced his healthier lifestyle.
“Dahil sa series na ito, na-renew ang connection ko with God… hindi na ako masyadong kumakain ng may sugar, hindi na rin ako nagkakarne, hindi na rin ako umiinom… Malinis na talaga ang lifestyle ko,” he shared.
‘My Bespren Emman’ is a family drama that also stars Sid Lucero and Ai-Ai delas Alas, and is directed by Derick Cabrido and Jerome Pobocan.
The series, which explores themes of love, faith, and friendship, is set to premiere on April 27 on TV5 primetime.
