A lighthearted moment unfolded at the showroom of Maddox Jewelry as veteran actor Niño Muhlach made a surprise visit—bringing along boxes of ensaymada as a playful “payment” for his wife’s jewelry haul.
According to Muhlach, he jokingly asked if the pastries could be used as barter for the items his wife had purchased through the online selling sessions of Maddox Jewelry president and founder Charo Cordial.
The offer, however, was all in good fun. Muhlach ultimately paid for the jewelry in full, with the total reportedly exceeding ₱200,000—earning praise for being a supportive and generous husband.
The visit also highlighted Maddox Jewelry’s fixed pricing model, which Cordial has consistently emphasized in her online selling platforms, where the brand has gained a following for offering competitive prices on diamond and gold pieces.
Muhlach was accompanied by his son, Sandro Muhlach, who has recently been the subject of public attention due to an ongoing controversy.
During a brief conversation, Muhlach addressed the issue, expressing the emotional toll it has taken on their family.
“Kahit sino namang magulang, masakit ‘yon. Sana sa akin na lang ginawa… kaso anak ko, kaya mas masakit. But I cannot talk about the case kasi ongoing,” he said.
Despite the situation, the actor assured that their family remains united in supporting Sandro.
The visit, while promotional in nature, also offered a glimpse into Muhlach’s personal side—balancing humor, family, and unwavering support amid challenges.
