Unkabogable star Vice Ganda made a highly anticipated return to ‘It’s Showtime’, drawing cheers from the “Madlang People” both in the studio and online after a month-long absence.

The comedian-host immediately made an impact, opening the show with a nostalgic look inspired by Girlie, her character from the 2013 MMFF hit ‘Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy’. Her entrance was met with loud applause, with fans expressing how much they missed her presence.
“I miss you, madlang pipol!” Vice greeted, followed by, “I miss you and I love you, madlang pipol. I’m so happy to be back.”
She also thanked supporters for reviving clips of her iconic character online during her break.
“Nakakaloka, biglang nag-resurface ang mga videos ni Girlie,” she said, before joking, “Ganun niyo ako ka-miss or ganun kayo ka-bagot sa life, talagang inamats niyo ‘yung luma kong pelikula.”
Vice further acknowledged younger audiences who recently discovered the film.
“Maraming salamat lalo na sa mga Gen Zs na ngayon pa lang nasaksihan ang pelikula. More than 8 million views na agad siya sa YouTube,” she shared, while also noting, “Nakakatawa ang pelikula, pero marami ang hindi na politically correct doon. Deadmahin niyo na lang because that was shown 13 years ago.”
However, one of the most talked-about moments came during the segment ‘Laro, Laro, Pick,’ where Vice delivered a punchline that quickly went viral.
“Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay….mahuhuli sa Czech Republic!” she quipped, prompting laughter from co-hosts and the audience, with many viewers interpreting it as a humorous reference to a recent political issue.
Her comeback quickly trended online, with fans celebrating her return and noting how her signature humor instantly energized the show.
Vice’s absence had earlier sparked speculation, including rumors involving contract matters and show arrangements, though no official statement addressed these claims. Reports later indicated that she had been on vacation, spending time with family and friends.
