Dustin Yu marked his 25th birthday with a grand fan celebration held on May 9, 2026, at Matrix Creations Events Venue. 
The actor and rising talent under Sparkle GMA Artist Center first gained wider recognition after joining Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, where he became known as the “Chinito Boss-Sikap ng Quezon City.”
The venue featured an immersive virtual reality-inspired setup utilizing more than 20 projectors that created 360-degree, real-time changing visual backgrounds throughout the event space. One of the major highlights of the evening was a virtual reality video wall presentation showcasing Dustin Yu’s personal and professional journey over the years.
Fans also organized a special exhibit displaying personal photographs, family trips, vacations, milestones, projects, and memorable moments from the actor’s career. The event served as a tribute to his growth and achievements as a public figure.
The celebration was organized by Dustin Yu’s fan community, D’Yuniverse, which gathered supporters from various fan groups to celebrate what they described as his “silver year anniversary.” Guests enjoyed several activities, interactive segments, and food booths prepared for attendees throughout the evening.
The program was hosted by DJ JhaiHo, also known as Lord Jireh Nepomuceno Suruelo, who led the evening’s activities and fan interactions.
Another highlight of the celebration was the gift-giving segment, where fans presented Dustin Yu with several notable gifts, including gold jewelry and a trip to the United Kingdom.
During the event, Dustin also delivered a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute dedicated to his mother, which became one of the evening’s emotional moments.
The celebration concluded with an outdoor fireworks display attended by hundreds of supporters.
In his speech, Dustin Yu shared that he was not accustomed to holding large birthday celebrations and admitted that he sometimes questioned why fans continued to support him despite his own perceived limitations as a performer.
Meanwhile, longtime supporter and showbiz vlogger Oskee Recabar became emotional while recalling the early years of supporting the actor, remembering when only a small group of fans attended his birthday gatherings. He noted how meaningful it was to witness a venue with a 400-person capacity filled with supporters celebrating Dustin Yu’s success and growth.
