Actresses Janella Salvador and Klea Pineda gave viewers a glimpse into their deep connection during their guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, further fueling speculation about the real score between them.
The two appeared on the June 9 episode of the talk show alongside Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Leanne Mamonong to promote their acclaimed queer-themed film ‘Open Endings’, which was first screened during the 2025 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival and is now enjoying a nationwide theatrical release.
During the interview, host Boy Abunda steered the conversation toward Janella’s previous statement, “I love who I love,” and asked her to elaborate.
“Love doesn’t have to be defined by anything. You just feel it, you just know,” Janella said, emphasizing that while she believes in labels, genuine feelings transcend conventional definitions.
The conversation eventually shifted to her close relationship with Klea, whom she has frequently been spotted with in recent months.
When asked who Janella is in her life, Klea responded with an answer that instantly caught the attention of viewers.
“Si Janella sa buhay ko, tahanan, home. Nakakalma niya yung lahat ng ingay sa isip ko. Yun siya, yun siya sa akin,” Klea said.
Janella appeared touched by the response before sharing her own description of Klea.
“My favorite gay and, hopefully, someone who will stay,” she said with a smile.

“Siya pinipigilan niya ako madalas kapag nakikita niya ako na nagtse-check ng social media comments. Parang, ‘Ah, nagbabasa ka na naman. Mamaya wala ka na naman sa mood,’” Klea revealed.
She also recalled immediately reaching out to Janella after seeing the threatening message.
“Nu’ng nakita ko yung isang message na yon, sinabi ko agad sa kanya. In-ask ko siya kung ano yung dapat kong gawin about it kasi parang nanginig yung buong katawan ko.”
Klea reiterated that no one deserves to receive threats of that nature.
“Wala naman sigurong may deserve ng ganoong klaseng threat,” she said.
For now, both actresses remain focused on promoting ‘Open Endings’, while fans continue to celebrate the genuine affection, respect, and comfort they clearly find in each other.
