The Jollibee Group is expanding its inclusive employment program for senior citizens and persons with disabilities through a Memorandum of Agreement with the Taguig City Government.

Under the partnership, 16 company-owned stores in Taguig across Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, and Burger King will participate in the program, with each store expected to engage two senior citizens and one PWD.
The initiative is part of the Jollibee Group’s continuing efforts to create meaningful work opportunities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Since the program began in 2019, it has already provided opportunities to over 1,000 senior citizens and PWDs across participating stores and partner local government units.
Building inclusive opportunities with Taguig City
The partnership brings together the Jollibee Group and the Taguig City Government in support of qualified senior citizens and PWDs who have the capacity and desire to work or be re-employed, recognizing the valuable role of senior citizens and PWDs in the development of the city when given opportunities to remain productive members of society.
Through the partnership, the Taguig LGU will help support the program through its relevant offices. The Public Employment Services Office will receive applicants, conduct initial interviews and profiling, prepare recommendation letters for medical examination, explain program qualifications, and conduct appropriate training for qualified applicants prior to work assignment.
The City Health Office will serve as the official medical institution for physical, medical, and laboratory examinations, and will facilitate the issuance of the Mayor’s Occupational Permit for qualified applicants certified fit to work.
The Office for Senior Citizens Affairs and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office will help disseminate information about the program, conduct debriefing sessions for applicants who may not qualify or whose employment may be pre-terminated with cause, and support monitoring and evaluation.
For its part, the Jollibee Group will conduct interviews, orientation, training, and minimal examinations for qualified applicants, and will facilitate the opening of payroll bank accounts free of charge for the SC and PWD.
Supporting dignified and meaningful work
Qualified senior citizens and PWDs under the program may be assigned to lobby-based roles such as order presenters, drink drawers, table managers, and guest relations staff.
