Former ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemate and actor Josh Ford has successfully undergone five surgical procedures related to long-standing issues involving his nose and left ear.
The 21-year-old actor shared the update with fans through a Facebook post on June 6, expressing gratitude after the successful operations.
“Finally nangyari na septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, left turbinectomy, and left myringoplasty done,” Josh wrote.
“Thank You Lord for a successful surgery. Praying for a smooth recovery and better days ahead.”
He also thanked those who continuously prayed for him and checked on his condition.
“Thank you everyone for all the love and support. Sobrang thankful ako sa inyong lahat. Salamat sa mga dasal at pag-check up sa akin. Gagaling din ako soon,” he added.
According to reports, the procedures were performed to address several medical concerns involving his nasal passages and left ear.
Among the surgeries he underwent was a septoplasty, a procedure that corrects a deviated nasal septum to improve breathing. He also underwent an uncinectomy and polypectomy to remove tissue and nasal polyps that may have been causing blockages and recurring sinus problems.
A left turbinectomy was likewise performed to reduce or remove enlarged tissue inside the nose and improve airflow, while a left myringoplasty was done to repair damage to his eardrum and help restore hearing.
The surgeries mark a significant milestone in Josh’s recovery journey following the tragic car accident he survived in 2023.
The accident claimed the lives of three young personalities—Andrei Sison, Paolo Bueza, and Arman Velasco—while leaving Josh with several injuries, including a perforated eardrum.
After gaining popularity through ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, Josh continued building his career in showbiz and later became known for his love team with actress Kira Balinger.
Following his latest health update, fans and supporters flooded his social media pages with messages of encouragement and prayers for his speedy recovery.
