Fresh from her victory as the ‘Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, Mika Salamanca made a candid and humorous confession when asked to name a celebrity or influencer she considers “performative.”

During a recent episode of the podcast ‘Hot Takes’, Mika took part in the segment ‘One for the Road,’ where guests must either eat spicy food or answer equally spicy questions.
When asked who among celebrities or influencers she considers performative, Mika surprised everyone with her answer.
“I really think… ako,” she said with a laugh.
While the term “performative” is often used negatively to describe people who do things merely for public approval or to maintain a certain image, Mika offered a different perspective on the issue.
According to her, being performative is not always a bad thing, especially if it encourages people to do good deeds.
She added that a little performativity may actually inspire people to become better versions of themselves.
I think we should.”
Beyond the lighthearted discussion, Mika also opened up about the realities of dealing with criticism and online negativity.
The content creator admitted that she believes not all of her bashers are strangers on the internet. Some, she said, may even be people within her own circle.
Despite the rumors and criticism she has encountered throughout her career, Mika said she remains grounded because she knows the truth about herself.
She also shared why she chooses not to reveal everything about her personal life to the public.
