The pilot episode of GMA Afternoon Prime’s You’re My Favorite Song struck a chord with viewers, with fans of Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales expressing excitement over the duo’s first-ever television pairing alongside Marco Masa and Clifford.

Even before the romance-drama premiered on television, the series had already generated significant buzz across social media. Fans eagerly anticipated the unfolding story of Angel (Caprice Cayetano), Miguel (Heath Jornales), Calix (Clifford), and Zion (Marco Masa).
The excitement translated online as the show’s official pilot week hashtag, #YMFSPilotWeek, and the phrase “ANGELs STORY BEGINS” both became trending topics on X during the series premiere.
The first episode, which aired on Monday, June 22, introduced viewers to Angel Dimaculangan, an intelligent and confident young woman whose greatest strength lies in her unwavering love for her family, including her mother, Mama Bebe (Katya Santos), and grandfather, Lolo Xavi (Boboy Garrovillo).

The premiere also introduced the male leads and their respective storylines. Miguel (Heath Jornales) is the lead vocalist of the band Siklab, whose path crosses with Angel while she is busking in a teddy bear mascot costume.
Meanwhile, Calix (Clifford), the brightest student at Brighton Bay Academy, meets Angel after she comes to the defense of Zion (Marco Masa), setting the stage for the intertwined journeys of the four young characters.

Although the story is only beginning, viewers have already embraced the budding friendships, romance, and emotional moments, with many sharing their excitement and “feels” online following the pilot episode.
You’re My Favorite Song airs weekdays at 4:00 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime after Kamao. Episodes, highlights, and exclusive content are also available on GMA Network’s official digital platforms, including GMANetwork.com and the GMA Play streaming app.
